Holiday holiday holiday advertises thousands of holidays from hundreds of travel agents. To ensure that your experience of the website and booking a holiday is as good as possible we have strict advertising rules in place including:
Every travel agent advertising on the site must be trading, financially sound and must provide some form of consumer protection (usually ABTA / ATOL protection).
All holiday offers advertised on the site must be available at the price advertised so the price you see is the price you pay. They must include compulsory extras airport tax and fuel supplements within the price.
Advertisers must update their offers regularly and check their availability to ensure the offer is still available, within reason.
Any additional fees or charges which are not compulsory must either be listed or explained to you by the agent before booking your holiday.
Consumer Protection
To ensure your peace of mind we make sure every agent has some form of consumer protection. Therefore we make sure every agent displays their ATOL/ABTA number on their specific offers for your information.
ABTA The ABTA fund is used to refund the customer if the ABTA member becomes insolvent
ATOL - Any flights and package holidays (which include air travel) must be protected by an ATOL holder's bond. If the tour operator you have travelled with ceases trading then you would be financially protected automatically. If you are making a booking with a retail agent for an ATOL holder, this means that the retail agent is acting as an authorised agent for the ATOL holder direct.
Pricing
All prices on the holiday holiday holiday site are displayed as per person prices. On the full holiday offer details you may also see family prices as loaded by the travel agent. All prices include compulsory taxes, but may be subject to extra charges such as debit charges, TOD, flight meals and transfers we advise you ask before booking your holiday.
Star Ratings
There are a variety of star ratings available depending on the destination, tour operator or tourist board. While agents will assign a star rating to each offer it is advised you clarify this rating is under any doubt before booking your offer.
COMPLIANCE PROCEDURES
We employ a compliance team on the site, who regularly check offers to ensure they are sticking to the rules.
Holiday holiday holiday ensures the compliance of advertising rules on the site but cannot bcome directly involved with a booking, complaint or dispute for a holiday, whether before, after, or in resort.
